Inspired by the Golden State Killings, a young couple relocates to California in the year 1980 and battles homesickness and relationship troubles. Meanwhile, their new city is rocked by the frequent murders of young women alone in their homes at night by an unidentified serial killers. As their personal lives spiral out of control, the couple also faces off with the serial killer who invades their home late one night with the intent to kill them both.
