Michael Curry is a buttoned-up loan officer with a good job, a beautiful wife, and a sex life he's convinced is fine. When a comedian's set about men who can't perform leaves him squirming and his wife Erica howling, he brushes it off. When Erica fakes an orgasm using a line from a Bruce Willis movie, he believes it. When he comes home early and finds a yoga mat, a doused candle, and moisture he can't explain, he starts to worry. When he overhears Erica and her best friend Zoe whispering about someone named Idris, he's certain — his wife is cheating.

Rather than confront her, Michael tracks down Bo, an eccentric sex class instructor whose loan application he'd previously denied. Bo runs Stroke-Aerobics, a class that teaches men how to please women through exercise, technique, and a lot of air-stroking. Michael enrolls alongside a motley group — Anthony, a sweaty teddy bear who owns his body; Ramesh, an over-eager tech nerd; Jake, a stiff guy who chokes mannequins; Han, a timid husband reclaiming control; and L, the only woman, working on her strap-on game.
