The Merci Gras festival roars late into the night, fuelled by those looking for a good time. Alannah is no different, entering a downtown, New Orleans club with her best friend to enjoy the atmosphere. While getting drinks at the bar, she bumps into a debaucherous, outrageous man. Her apprehension soon turns to affection as the two start talking, exploring each other's lives and tolerance for rum. Yet, there is more to this man than meets the eye; something Alannah will soon learn when talk of Baron Samedi starts circling the club.
