Halifax Bay City, a place to raise your family and find a decent career, is home to two young individuals with a bright future ahead. Isabel Thompson and Daniel Fields are childhood best friends. As they enter into young adulthood, the two find their lives changing. Then tragedy strikes the Fields family, causing Daniel to disappear for a time to grieve. When he returns and reunites with Isabel, problems surface again. Isabel is subjected to the inhumane experiment that is Project Zero. Can the two escape the clutches of the seemingly humane company, Orec Frameworks, determined to regain their lost asset?
