Emma Barnett, a rookie cop, has officially turned her back on her former life as a UFO hunter. But just as she's settling into a normal life, the small town of Prescott, Arizona experiences a series of mysterious and gruesome murders accompanied by sightings of a strange creature in the forest with only one name: "Dedo".

Emma ponders returning to her old life as a UFO hunter and soon finds herself involved with the likes of a local Sheriff with a reputation for his own brand of justice and her former leader who's showing signs of becoming more unhinged as he grows desperate to make first contact with potential alien life.
