New League television

The story begins in the near-future with teenage Daniel Moore, who lives alone and has descended from the leaders of a famous team of intelligent individuals who kept the world safe, and have since disappeared. While he looks for a way to use his inherited skills in inventing to help people and contribute to society, a dangerous force from another world gives him the opportunity and leads him to bring together other teenagers at the top of specific fields that he can locate based on research. These four recruits are Sam Hill, Moon Chloe, Hassan William, and Carlo Rodriguez; all from the surrounding city of Stonehall, Tennessee.

This group starts out small-scale and seeks out nearby disturbances from this new threat, which brings them into conflict with another teenager; the mysterious Charlotte Mitchell. She possesses a power similar to what they are fighting to contain, and as time goes on, the team learns that not only are these factors connected, but these matters run deeper and more personal to both the dismantled Public League and to Daniel himself.

But to fight against an unknown power source and potentially save the world, this new group must first learn to tolerate each other. While the mystery deepens, so do the bonds between Daniel and his teammates, and most strongly with both Sam and Moon. And as the stakes rise and an odd sort of family forms, these new friendships will be tested and this New League will grow past their differences while Daniel finds a new legacy for himself to leave when all is done.
