We join Monty (who has just failed to kill himself) on his morning routine which includes feeding the hostage he has down in his basement. When a telegram comes informing him that his brother has died, Monty has to return home and face some old demons (mainly his family) who practically own the small american town. Desperate to try and attend the funeral and get back to the hostage before he runs out of supplies left by Monty. Also, tracking Monty is a mysterious man who we gather will do anything to find him.
