A quiet university town is thrown into chaos by the gruesome murder of graduate student Kaitlyn Cross, whose mutilated body is discovered on campus. Troubled detective Patrick Lynch, haunted by an eerily similar unsolved murder eight years earlier, arrives to investigate, believing the crimes may be connected.
