Casey Crenshaw is a 22 year old college dropout who's returned to his hometown of Rattlehorn, Arizona for a fresh start. Problems instantly arise with living under the roof of his abusive father, as well as having to confront demons from this past. Casey's path to making life easier for himself in Rattlehorn leads to old wounds being opened up and now he finds himself scrambling to survive against a plethora of vengeful townspeople, including a former teacher and old friend from high school.

Very strong first episode, I can clearly visualize it playing out while reading it. The worldbuilding is very strong; this small town feels very real. Only slight room for improvement, mostly tinkering with the structure and fleshing out one particular character. But I'm excited to see what's in store for this project.
Overall this is one of the best things I have read on this site as it has engaging characters to an exciting and tense story. The relationship that builds between Casey and Stephen is perfect. My only comment is don't make Stephen seem so nice initially because it was a little off-putting.
