One day, she begins losing consciousness and waking up in unfamiliar places. Unsure if she’s hallucinating or traveling through a portal, she turns to a therapist—unaware he once saved her life. As they unravel the mystery, a bond grows between them, even as he fights to remain professional.
Together, they uncover shocking truths about her father’s death and her mother’s desperate efforts to repay a massive debt to a ruthless real estate shark. Caught between traditional expectations and a violent, male-dominated world, Amrita and her mother fight to survive.
