A jury found reasonable doubt and acquitted Karl Canter for murder. But there's no doubt in Annette's mind that Karl murdered her daughter. Annette takes advantage of a chance meeting with Karl and holds him captive. If he reveals her daughter's whereabouts, she'll set him free.
