Draft 1
A jury found reasonable doubt and acquitted Karl Canter for murder. But there's no doubt in Annette's mind that Karl murdered her daughter. Annette takes advantage of a chance meeting with Karl and holds him captive. If he reveals her daughter's whereabouts, she'll set him free. But if he refuses to confess, she'll torture him and suffer the consequences. Either way, Annette won't rest until her daughter receives a proper burial. And she has no reservations about burying Karl, too.
A young man who survived a horrific childhood abduction hasn't dared leave home in 15 years, so his brother and an ominous doctor devise a plan to scare him out of his house, but when bizarre things start to happen, is it the work of his brother or is he beginning to lose his mind.
