A lot of plot holes and useless scenes, yet there is hope...

The diamond in the rough of this is the relationship between Rick, Zoe, and Sky. Everything else is kind of useless. A dramatic retelling of the inciting incident and subplots could and should be done. Rebuild the world in which they live and around their relationships. Good luck in your future drafts.
