The entire script could serve as an episode of the Netflix show "You" as it has that same introspective appeal and delves into its characters in the same manner, through flashbacks and action. While there is no comparable voiceover in this script, it still maintains success as it showcases characters through actions and visible displays of emotion, rather than telling the audience what to feel, it shows, it does not tell. I encourage more original thinking in some of the set elements however. As it sits now it is free of many surprises, due to the familiar territory that this script exists in. Try another pass while thinking about whether or not you’ve seen this done before. If the answer is yes, then rethink that element to something you’ve never seen before. This will help increase the drama as it will draw us in further. In general, this was a smooth read that kept my attention just enough. Thanks for sharing!
