The Show Must Go On feature

Rating: 80%
Overall, The Show Must Go On is a spectacle for the reader and the viewer! It is one of those stories where not everything needs to make sense, yet the eeriness of the final scenes and the false catch towards the end makes the read even more exciting, which will look even better if this were made into a film. The pop culture references and the methods by which prisoners are actually executed midway remind me of medieval or coliseum shows yet the futuristic devices that are scattered throughout the film make the film seem to elude a bit to the film BladeRunner. The last thing I want to note about this work is that there is a huge shift of writing that takes place between the first show that Elizabeth attends and the rest of the work. It’s as if there is a completely different writer writing it which makes it all the more interesting.

Tooth Ferē feature

Rating: 67%
The ending feels a bit rushed, it almost seems like the story is given a bad ending where the villains truly won, yet the climax of the script is basically a dentist appointment with Faye being forced to sacrifice her teeth to "stabilize the fairy realm", when in reality, the climax is Faye getting her wisdom teeth removed. The family drama between Faye and her parents over the new therapy office Faye seems to open seems like a good place to build on. A few more pages of this where the teeth get more in-depth appointments would be a nice addition to the world-building. Feels like a great world to build on, yet the ending doesn't really make much sense since Faye is already a tooth therapist. The suspense and the buildup of the final appointment is similar to how such an appointment is intensified in real life. Overall a very imaginative tale with lots of good world-building!
