The concept was good, however, slightly unoriginal as we have seen a lot of stories use this comedy/horror idea of people being possesed (i.e: 2013 a haunted house) However, the writing/characters were able to make the story investing, especially in the beginning as we as an audience would want to know what is going on with Peggy. However, it would off worked better if the script was longer ,There should have been more build up, with Pete gaining suspicion over a longer period of time, i.e, maybe over the course of a week and each day Peggy acts more weird. This way, it adds to the suspension and enhances the horror feel of the story while making the ending more anticlimactic which makes it overall funnier, enhancing the comedy aspect to the story. Pete's character was enjoyable to watch, as we know he is overreacting and unnecessarily dramatic, and his over the top thinking leads the story, wanting the audience to know what his reaction will be in the end. The dialogue between Pete and Peggy felt weak as there wasn't much back and fourth emotion, Peggy is acting weird, but maybe add more dialogue in the beginning for Peggy and make it weird so that we can feel as suspicious an d uncomfortable as Pete. throughout the story, Petes character completely matches his dialogue and we can see what he is like even when he is not speaking, which is a good use of subtext. The goal of the story is good, as its all from Petes perspective. However, there are not many obstacles in his way. what might be better if, again, if his suspicion was built up over a week (shown on script), she wouldn't allow him to go out anymore because she is acting even more weird and moody. This will make the obstacles more intense while adding to the comedy element of him wanting to get out (possibly attempting a few different ways such as dramatically jumping down the fire escape), and it also makes Peggy seem more aggressive and enhances the mystery of why she is acting like that and at the same time, makes her actions seem more understandable at the ending as she is shown to be just pregnant and very moody. Overall, it was enjoyable to read, the story was easy to follow, but it could have been a lot longer and some of the overall tension/mystery could have been dialled up a lot more to make the stakes higher (as the stakes seemed quite low). The comedy aspects felt refreshing, it was funny to follow Pete's absurd observations and see him turn them into ridiculously overthought actions. it was entertaining.
